We ship orders Monday-Friday and ship within 1-2 business days.

In an effort to reduce landfill waste and keep all of our packaging materials recyclable we only use kraft paper for void fill. We switched over from plastic wrap/bubble wrap/foam years ago and our breakage rate with our current method remains well under 1%.

We guarantee that every piece we ship arrives unbroken and, in the case of WYSIWYG pieces, as shown in each listing photo. In the rare event that your piece breaks during transit, or we ship the wrong piece by mistake, please send us an email at peacemakerranch@gmail.com for a full refund.

Unfortunately due to the high cost of shipping we cannot accept returns. If you have any concerns prior to ordering please message us at peacemakerranch@gmail.com.

If you're just trying to cut a small piece, generally use hand tools. We like Silky saws or other similar fine-tooth saws (18+ tpi). Hack saws can work in a pinch, same with crosscut saws. Pruning shears will only work on really thin-diameter pieces (<1/4" inch).

For power tools, avoid circular saws, miter saws, routers, or table saws. These are designed for dimensioned lumber and manzanita will often move when being cut creating a kickback hazard. Chainsaws work but leave a rough cut and cover the piece in bar oil. We mostly use bandsaws. If you have any questions please send us a message.
