Manzanita Wood Horse Sculptures

As part of our effort to reduce fire risk at Peacemaker Ranch by removing dead wood and other potential wildfire fuel, we have repurposed/salvaged dead manzanita branches from our back pasture. The twisting, expressive nature of manzanita wood inspires us to create one-of-a-kind minimalist manzanita "driftwood" sculptures. Equine "busts" are mounted on locally salvaged redwood.
